Quick Tip : Understanding Dynamic Range (Video)

A few months ago, a regular reader suggested that I start doing Quick Tips videos. I happened to be doing some testing on the Blackmagic Design Micro Studio Cameras, and shot four videos. I then promptly forgot about them and only edited one. This is it and it covers a very fast introduction to the topic of dynamic range. 2018 Creative Resolutions

A lot of New Year's resolutions are less resolution and more wishful thinking. At least many of mine have been in the past. But I make the effort each year, sometimes later deciding that I no longer want to go that route, sometimes dropping the resolution entirely and sometimes fulfilling it. Makes me human, I suppose. On October 18th Adobe made it official that there are two different Lightroom tracks. The product that we have known for two years as Lightroom CC is now called Lightroom Classic and a new version became available to subscribers today.
The name Lightroom CC now refers to a different product, basically Lightroom in the Cloud targeted at clients with smaller photo libraries who want everything in the cloud and nothing stored on a local machine.
